What is NOT protected by the guaranty association?
Policies with insurers not licensed to do business in Vermont; non-guaranteed provisions of life, health, and annuity policies; Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) contracts; reinsurance contracts; employer self funded benefit arrangements; and certain other contracts.
